B2B Marketing & Sales Conference Scheduled

Marketing-Cloud.com will hold the Art & Science of B2B Marketing & Sales virtual conference will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The virtual conference will be live on October 28 and will be available on-demand beginning on Friday, October 29, 2010 through January 29, 2011.

The conference will feature two tracks. The Art and Strategy of Development will look at planning and implementation of strategies to address today’s marketing challenges. the Science of Putting Tools into Practice will provide attendees with information on specific methods, processes and tools that can help businesses save money and increase revenue.

Jon Miller, Marketo Vice President of Marketing will facilitate a program called Creating the Perfect Mix of Art and Science in our B2B Marketing Programs. The program will cover how to determine the proper mix of marketing programs that include both social media and demand generation; how to calculate the effort needed in lead generation versus lead nurturing; and how to measure results so that marketers can improve their results.

The conference will also have a section called Customer 101. This segment will talk with 5 different companies about identifying and acquiring new customers.

Attendees will learn how to take 1000 leads and prioritize them according to your company’s strengths. They will also learn the five questions that must be answered before a lead moves from marketing to sales.

James Rogers from Hoovers will also talk about the most effective tools and processes that can move a customer from prospect to buyer.
